To monitor, provide technical response and make recommendations to rule-making actions made by local, state, and federal regulatory agencies that will impact various environmental aspects of mining operations. The
committee will also be active in the review and monitoring of enforcement activities of regulatory agencies, continue lab control review and pursue standardization of all procedures, and review and recommend innovative
reclamation practices.

By encouraging expanded membership participation on the committee and subcommittees, the committee will continue to provide pertinent and relevant information to assist the membership with all compliance issues affecting
mining operations.
