To promote safety and health for Texas mining and dependent operations by acting as an informational exchange between members and by monitoring the regulatory activities of federal, state and local agencies which
may impact such operations. Also, to provide information, comment or testimony to these agencies regarding the benefits and difficulties encountered by regulatory activity.
